The report's design needed to strike a perfect balance—dynamic and visually compelling, yet mature and trustworthy enough to effectively present the crucial data from BVNK’s collaboration with the CEBR.

Following BVNK’s rebrand in Q1 of 2024, I strategically positioned the brand to meet these criteria, ensuring it projected both energy and innovation while maintaining the credibility and reputation essential for conveying authoritative insights.

Due to the brand already being strategically positioned in the right way, I wanted to lean into certain parts of our brand and make that the highlight of the concepts. Like the report would be a highlight for our marketing team within many projects for this year, I felt we could use a part of our brand to replicate that idea, which felt like a nice alignment.

I set about research our competitors reports taking direction and inspiration from how they presented graphs and data, as well as identifying the colours that they had used from their brand colour palette to help set the tone of the report and therefore the content.

I ended up developing 3x concepts that were inspired from sections or ideas around BVNK pattern or Network. Each idea leant into our purple colour scale and take advantage of our deeper purples, to help create aa richness to the visuals, that worked as a springboard for our pop colours.

I ended up developing 3x concepts that were inspired from sections or ideas around BVNK pattern or Network. Below you can see the 3x concepts and we ended up choosing concept 2: Globe

I dove into various iterations of the Globe concept, experimenting with color to find the perfect combination. The goal was to use the Globe as a dynamic focal point, zooming in and out to create engaging crops and frames throughout the report. This approach not only maintained a visual rhythm but also kept the layouts fresh and captivating.

The outcome was a visually stunning report that seamlessly combined a rich, dynamic aesthetic with the maturity and trustworthiness needed to effectively convey the data and insights.

The rest of the Design Team were then able to use this concept help create social media collateral to help promote report across BVNK’s numerous different networks and channels.
